These books are helpful for anyone who wants to get ahead in life

Doha — August 30, 2019 — Reading is one of the best daily habits practiced by the best achievers we aspire to become like in this life. It is an effective method that sharpens oneself, especially, if the genre of choice is ‘self-improvement’ and ‘non-fiction’. Reading those two genres are great for broadening your horizon as they can open your perspective and boost your creativeness.

A Leader is a Reader, that’s why I recommend these books I’ve read, specifically, because they make you think better and actively work on changing your life,” said Mizo Amin, basketball star and the business owner of Punchy Store in Doha. “The books in this list will truly help you change your lives, as they are not your typical motivational, run-of-the-mill self-help reads. They have changed mine for sure.”

5/5
  1.   1. The 48 Laws of Power – Robert Greene

Contrary to the reviews you often get about this book. Mizo does not agree with the terms “amoral, cunning, and ruthless” which appear on good-reads page. If anything, Mizo thinks that this book helps you understand the types of people you may meet in life. “Most of these people, aren’t going to be nice to you,” Mizo noted. “So might as well study the counter attack before launching it.” Mizo recommends this book for readers who want to become rich and successful, but at the same time does not mind using a little deception and dirty tactics along the way. “This book has a lot of valuable information. But you must put your emotions aside and read it from a practical perspective,” Mizo said.

Mizo’s favorite quote from the book is: “Do not leave your reputation to chance or gossip; it is your life’s artwork, and you must craft it, hone it, and display it with care of an artist”

  1. This Book is one of the greatest books ever written !
    The 48 Laws of Power

I will write my honest opinion not only a review about this book …

Now a lot of people know about this book already , alright and I want to say few things about this book The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene … This is an absolute must read … Honestly in my opinion
This book is an absolute must HAVE & READ !

But however their is a disclaimer , I just want to say .. if you read this book and you think this is the way to go about your life you are an Idiot Alright!

This book should be called (The 48 laws of being a scumbag ) their is a lot of dirty , nasty, disgusting things in this book and it’s really to me … an evil evil book .

However in business people go by this book and guess what … you are going to deal with people and people don’t necessarily have your best interest at heart

and this whole entire world out their that we live in , Unfortunately is based on deception and their is a lot of the power of deception and misdirection in this book and you need to know that stuff

but u also need to know that those guys you face daily are doing that … and if you ever went to anyone’s home or office and you see this book just WATCH OUT! OK …

but it’s really a must read and a must have … now I must say something else

I think EVERYONE in Bussiness must have this book … I don’t care if u are working in social media marketing or selling products like T-Shirts or even Burgers, that is BUSINESS and business is a business …

Now I’ve had this book for years now and I can tell u the best way to read it effectively is to buy the paperback book to highlight & write down ur own notes & listen to the Audiobook…

  1.   2. The Millionaire Next Door – Thomas J. Stanley & William D. Danko

Many personal finance books claim to reveal to the reader the secrets of becoming rich, but a few books actually do. “Unlike those books, this book will actually, help you get rich slowly, but definitely,” Mizo said. “Did you know that only 20% of millionaires are retired and 50% own businesses?” Mizo said. He also shared that he learned many thinks like, “allocating time, energy, money and space efficiently.” At the end, the book gives an insight on the importance of financial independency to a person.

Mizo’s favorite quote from the book is: “Wealth is more often the result of a lifestyle of hard work, perseverance, planning, and, most of all, self-discipline”

  1.   4. The Science Of Getting Rich – Wallace D Wattles

This book is an old book yet it is still very valuable as Mizo Commented “ Wonderful book this

is an abssolute must read, must have book. This book is so old it’s pretty much how some people
