Cinema has been a part of the entertainment industry for a long time. It creates a massive impact on people all over the world. In other words, it helps them give a break from monotony. It has evolved greatly in recent years too. Cinema is a great escape from real life.

Furthermore, it helps in rejuvenating the mind of a person. It surely is beneficial in many ways, however, it is also creating a negative impact on people and society. We need to be able to identify the right from wrong and make decisions accordingly.

Top five action movies for the past 10 years

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Avengers: Endgame If there is one Marvel Cinematic Universe movie that deserves to sit on a list of the best action movies of the last five years, it is easily Avengers: Endgame. While most MCU movies fall into different genres, most are entrenched in the action genre, although none as profoundly as this last Avengers movie.

Black Panther (2018)

Black Panther (2018)

Black Panther If there was one superhero movie that had the best chance to win an Oscar, it was the MCU film Black Panther in 2018. The movie was smart, it had great action sequences, and it told a spectacular story. It also had arguably the best villain in comic book movies in Killmonger, a man who honestly had something to fight for. From the one-on-one fight scenes to the impressive battles with the Dora Milaje warriors, this was an almost perfect action film.

The Dark Knight Rises (2012)

The Dark Knight Rises (2012)

The Dark Knight The final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy is an epic, emotional conclusion to one of the greatest superhero sagas ever made. The Dark Knight Rises is also a bona fide action treat, with a jaw-dropping opening airplane sequence that ranks near the top of the decade’s most awe-inspiring stunts. Of all the superhero movies out there — and I love most of them — this is one of the few that manages to wow with practical action sequences, and more of them should learn from its approach to the genre. In Nolan we trust. (Kieran Fisher)

Inception ( 2010 )

Inception ( 2010 )

Inception is an arthouse movie with blockbuster aspirations. Or perhaps it’s the other way around. It is the product of a director given free reign by his studio, and a film that challenges its audience as much as it seeks to delight them. Who can forget the dream-within-a-dream world building, or the visually stunning action sequences such as the one that takes place inside a rotating hallway? Dizzying, beautifully scored and edited, and filled with memorable performances (including the role that properly introduced Tom Hardy to many American viewers), Inception is without a doubt one of the most influential and respected films to emerge from the genre in recent years.

Mission: Impossible- Fallout (2018)

Mission: Impossible- Fallout (2018)

Mission: Impossible – Fallout The movies blossom into the most successful entry yet. It’s full of the action for which Cruise has become known for in this franchise particularly; literally throwing himself into harm’s way in search of the best action moments. It might not do much for McQuarrie’s stress levels (or Cruise’s body), but it certainly is entertaining for audiences.
